Pakistani Human Rights Defender Saida Ghulam Fatima is going to leave for Baku to take part in the trial on basic accusations against former Artsakh Minister Ruben Vardanyan.News.am:In an interview with him, Fatima expressed hope that he would be allowed to participate in the session.
"Because Pakistanis can go to Azerbaijan freely, I decided to go to Baku and see what the situation is happening to Ruben, in what trial it is against against it," he said. Fatima, who was one of the candidates for the Aurora Humanitarian Award founded by Armenian businessman and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan in 2016, calls for human rights activists and all concerned people to fight for Vardanyan's freedom. He is a wonderful man and is innocent. We live in an unjust world, achieving justice is quite difficult, but you have to try to fight for his freedom. He should not suffer. All human rights activists must raise their voices and fight for his freedom. We must try to leave him alone. Ruben is a very good man, he has been humanitarian, fighting for human rights and peace, so it should not be in this condition, "Fatima concluded.
