Ukraine has received $ 971 million from Great Britain, which is provided with funds received from Russia's frozen assets, and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Schmigal stated on Friday.
"Ukraine has received the first funds from the United Kingdom with income from Russia's frozen assets. Today we have received 752 million pounds (971 million dollars) within the framework of the G7 ERA initiative, "Schmigal wrote in his wave of Telegram.
As Schmigal stated earlier, in general, the initiative of G7 ERA countries plans to send $ 50 billion to Ukraine, of which $ 20 billion will provide the EU.
On March 1, the head of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Sergey Martenko announced the signing of a $ 2.26 billion agreement for Kiev's military needs.
