The officials of the government of Afghanistan, which have been formed by the movement of the radical Taliban, have banned women from giving mosques to pray. This was reported by Etilaatroz newspaper, citing the sources of Herat.
According to them, the information about the new restrictions was reported to the population orally through imams. From now on, as one of the newspaper's interlocutors said, women are also prohibited from participating in Friday prayers in mosques, although they have previously been separate rooms for them.
In 2022, the leader of the Taliban Haybatullah Akhundzada ordered a punishment for Sharia's laws, that is, to the death penalty, to insult, betrayal, homosexual relations and other crimes.
