Serbia is a very small country for sending peacekeepers to Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Alexander Wulin told Izvestia.
He drew attention to the fact that such a decision could only be made by the agreement of the UN Security Council.
"We will never do it without the prior consent of all parties without the UN and others," Wulin said.
He added that given the size of Serbia, "there are many better candidates than us."
On February 26, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Moscow does not consider the deployment of European peacekeepers in Ukraine. According to him, the imposed approach imposed by European countries is aimed at preventing attempts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
