South Korean and USAIs are conducting 10-day joint intelligence military exercises in border areas with North Korea, as part of joint operative capacity expansion, Yonhap reports, citing South Korea's Marine Naval Corps.
The 10-day exercise began on Wednesday at the educational places of the town of Pajj and Dongduchen near North Korea, according to the Marine Naval Corps. About 70 marine infantry of special intelligence units of the two countries took part in them.
"During the exercise, marine infantry will hold a number of exercises aimed at the preparation and intelligence of quartens, snipers," Yonhap wrote.
The Marine Infantry Corps also said that it plans to hold additional exercises with US marine infantry involving units and other professions as part of its regular exercise program.
