Poland hopes that US President Donald Trump will understand that European countries have heard him and have decided to increase defense expenses. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated this during a visit to Japan.
"My message to Japan is actually the same as the message of US President Donald Trump. We would like Trump to hear that we have added costs, "Sikorski told reporters The Japan Times quoted.
The Minister added that European countries are trying to increase defense expenses after the Trump's rule, as the Ukrainian conflict "finally forced Europeans to understand that they were extremely dependent on US military restraints."
