Iran strongly condemns the introduction of a new package of sanctions by the United States to put pressure on the sale of oil for the Islamic Republic, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Bagha.
"The decision on trade and economic cooperation between the countries is a part of the legitimate right to determine their destiny, and none of the parties to disrupt or ban them of trade and economic relations," Baghai's statement said the Iranian Foreign Ministry's official televram channel.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bagha noted that US sanctions contradict the UN charter and violate the rights of Iranians.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump's Administration has set a new phase of oil brokers, ships and people, who, according to him, are related to the illegal deliveries of Iranian oil as part of the country's "maximum pressure" strategy.
