American President Donald Trump changes the US strategy in Ukraine, rejecting the policy of strengthening its previous ones, transatlantic relations, as it seeks to normalize relations with Russia. The Axios portal writes about this, citing the opinion of Trump Advisers.
According to them, the West has been taking Russia against himself for a long time and has forced a special action. Trump is inclined to think that NATO has provoked the conflict in Ukraine. Trump's critics will never accept that he has been in favor of termination of hostilities and believes that Ukraine does not have enough people to resist Russia, say its advisers.
They emphasize two events, which, according to them, have formed Trump's views on Ukraine and NATO. In April 2008, Ukraine and Georgia promised to adopt an alliance for one day at the Bucharest summit.
