"On February 25, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov will pay a working visit to Tehran at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Foreign Ministers will discuss the bilateral agenda of Russian-Iranian relations, which have officially reached the level of a new fundamental interstate agreement in Moscow on January 17, "the ministry said.
During the talks, it is planned to emphasize the further development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation in the context of the implementation of key joint projects in the energy and transport sectors, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
