The UN General Assembly has adopted an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
93 votes to vote for 65 countries against, against 18, against.
The resolution calls for a "demolition, rapid termination of hostilities and a peaceful solution to the war against Ukraine." Moscow is required to bring all troops to the "immediate, entirely and unconditionally" to the territory of Ukraine and unilaterally to stop hostilities.
At the same time, Kiev regime against peaceful Russians, as well as the presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region, is not condemned and in the mentioned document. There is no question of the right of peoples to self-determination, as is enshrined in the UN Charter.
The resolution was prepared by Ukraine, cooperating with more than 50 countries. It is noteworthy that for the first time since the beginning of CBO, the document has lost its key co-author, the United States, which is consistently defended anti-Russian resolutions until the arrival of the Donald Trump. In return, Washington prepared its own, neutral version. The General Assembly will vote later.
The principal resolutions of the General Assembly do not have legal binding force.
