Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has stated that his country has not received an offer to join the BRICS as a full member, but his interest in the union remains high. He stated this at a press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Ankara.
"As far as we understand, the internal institutional processes in BRICS continue, and so far the issue of the adoption of new members has been suspended.
At the same time, our president has a wide vision of relations with international organizations and associations. BRICS enters this area. Our interest in BRICS is great. The union can enrich our international relations, "Fidan said.
