With the naked eye and without in-depth expert analyses and forecasts, it is obvious that serious domestic political developments, if not shocks, are expected in the near future. In any case, the “heating up” is quite predictable. There are opinions that it will be a “spring heat” similar to those previously recorded. Public sentiment is, to put it mildly, heated.
This is due to the formation of new security threats by the government led by Pashinyan, as well as dangerous foreign-political “movements”, steps against national values and historical realities, in addition to incomprehensible and severing tax and economic “policies”.
Add to this the threat of new concessions and the possible crossing of new “red lines”. In such conditions, there are views that “new forces” should be formed and emerge. It is not a wrong idea, albeit a little idealistic. However, there is a view that in the current situation, much more important The opposition field, the real oppositionists, the ability to clearly "inventory" the forces and capabilities of the cooperation, the ability to combine and coordinate actions. No matter how we look at it, it is impossible to ignore the real capabilities of this or that force in Armenia today.
For example, it is clear that, say, the ARF and the Republican Party have such potential that it would be difficult to imagine the aforementioned processes without them. Moreover, the same Republican Party also has serious ties abroad, including in European political circles, which is very important, and is able to carry out certain works on international platforms as well. The main issue comes down to the real cooperation of the oppositionists, taking into account the actual,real opportunities and resources. In a certain sense, it can also be characterized as a public order.
And the problem is not to join together, but to combine these forces, with a real assessment of their strength, towards one main goal. Moreover, on the condition that they do not fight against each other. Ultimately, a rapidly sobering society has a natural demand to get rid of these authorities. And that and the imperative to ensure a real chance of a future, we believe, take precedence over everything else.
