The amendments to the Code on Administrative Offenses of Georgia, which tighten their sentences to the protesters.
The laws adopted in three readings were signed by President Mikheil Kavellashvili. A new article appeared to insult officials, the fines and dates for some administrative offenses have been raised.
Insulting officials may be punished with detention, or a fine of 1500-4000 LARI.
During the protest, hiding the face or laser light in a demonstration is fined 2000 cord or up to 7 days. Changes have also been made in the Criminal Code. The terms of charge of the police and officials have been increased by one year. It also plans to send prison for those who have publicly violated violence.
