Russian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Hakan Fidan discussed the situation around the Middle East and Ukraine on February 6, the Russian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
"A number of issues on the bilateral agenda were touched upon. The importance of close coordination of steps has been approved, including the implementation of Russian President Putin and Turkish President Erdogan agreements.
It is emphasized that during the previous contacts of the presidents and ministers, the situation in Syria and him were discussed. An agreement has been reached to stay in close contact on current bilateral, regional and international issues, including the Middle East and Ukraine.
