RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Araxia Svajyan observed the exam process today at the exam center located in Yerevan's John Kirakosyan School No. 20 and wished success to the applicants.

Before the start of the exam, the deputy minister, accompanied by the director of the National Academy of Sciences, Armen Pashayan, went around the exam halls, talked with the applicants and inquired about what profession they would choose.

Before entering the examination room, the applicants were checked using the appropriate device, metal detectors, to exclude the presence of communication devices during the examination and to ensure equal and impartial conditions for all.

The exam grades will become known on the 5th day, and before that, in the second half of the exam day, the Assessment and Testing Center will publish the tests and the correct answers.

The appeal will be on the 6th day of the exam.

It is noteworthy that the Evaluation and Testing Center received 11,606 applications to participate in the first round of the unified examinations set for admission to universities, which is 2,000 more than last year.

Let's remind that from 2022, according to the decision of the RA government, the National Technical University organizes the entrance exams in two stages.

The first stage is the joint exams held in January-February, when the applicant passes only joint exams in the subjects of his choice, without specifying the university and profession.

In the second round, all applicants, regardless of the results of the first round, must register on the dimord.am website of the State Technical University, choosing the university and the specialty.
