The US President Donald Trump's administration is not interested in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine after the end of the conflict. This is reported by Bloomberg, referring to the Western diplomat.
According to him, the new American administration has made it clear that it does not intend to directly participate in such an initiative, believing that the private sector will do it.
On January 21, the US president did not rule out the possibility of completely stopping the supply of American weapons to Kiev, and also announced that he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin "at any time".
At the same time, he allowed to tighten the sanctions against Russia, if the latter does not agree to the deal on the issue of Ukraine.
As Putin mentioned earlier, Moscow is open to dialogue with the new US administration on the Ukrainian conflict, the most important thing is to eliminate the root causes of the crisis. He confirmed that Russia takes into account the statements of Trump and his team about the desire to restore contacts, and also it is necessary to do everything to prevent the third world war.
