On the morning of January 22, an armed attack took place on the Armenian "Tatian" private school located in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul. According to "Akunq", as a result of the armed attack, the windows of the school were broken, and bullet marks were noticed on the walls. As a result of the search in the house of one of the arrested suspects, an illegally used gun was found.
Before that, the police, after studying the video of the security camera, found out that one of the 2 suspects opened fire in the direction of the Armenian school, and the other one collected the empty cartridges. The police, noticing that the suspects were sheltering in a shelter, took measures and launched an operation against them. Sh.K. and Y. Ch. named suspects were arrested.
The suspects were the authors of various crimes before that. Among the suspects, Y.C. was released after being interrogated, and his file was sent to the relevant bodies of justice. As for the other suspect, Sh. K. was handed over to the court on charges of "damaging property", "observantly endangering public safety" and other charges.
