The officer of the patrol service fined RA Deputy Minister of Economy Egdar Zakaryan. The deputy minister announced this on his social network page.
"After two days of reflection, I decided to write anyway.
Two days ago, at midnight, I was returning home from work when the patrol officers stopped my car. I did not notice any violation and I stopped the car in confusion.
The patrol officer approached.
- Dear driver, Lieutenant ....Yan, your documents, please. Presenting my documents, I asked what violation I committed.
- Dear driver, you are driving with your headlights off. Actually, due to my fatigue, I didn't notice that I hadn't even turned on my headlights. I apologized and corrected it of course.
The patrol went to check my documents and approached.
- Mr. Deputy Minister, I apologize, but I have to write an act for the violation.
- Dear police officer, I would be upset if you didn't write, I fought for this kind of Armenia, where everyone is equal and responsible before the law.
I did not fight so that now it will be my turn "not to be fined".
I have never been so satisfied with being fined, this is an acceptable, even dreamy form of punishment for which it was worth fighting for. When the state rules and regulations are ignored and bypassed, the state collapses, and we all felt the consequences quite harshly at the time.
Now I think that we should build a state from the rubble, even with difficulty, by applying extra effort and working very, very, very hard.
