Preparations for the phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump are currently not underway, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Not yet," Peskov said in an interview with TASS, according to Euromedia24.com.

Earlier, Putin congratulated Trump on his victory in the elections, and also reminded of Moscow's readiness for dialogue on the conflict in Ukraine.

The last telephone conversation between Putin and Trump took place in July 2020.
