US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he plans to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
"I will meet with President Putin," the American leader told reporters while signing decrees at the White House. However, he did not specify the date of the scheduled meeting. "I don't know, I can't talk about it," said Trump, answering the question about the dates.
Trump was asked when he is going to talk to Putin. "It could happen very soon," the American leader replied.
"Many thought that the war would end in a week, but now it has been going on for three years. Anything can happen, but I think it would be very good to end this war," the president said. The Washington chief of staff was asked how long it would take to end the conflict in Ukraine.
