"Today, as of this morning, Hamas has not fulfilled its obligations and, contrary to the agreement, has not given Israel the names of the hostages," he said.
According to the spokesman, the ceasefire ordered by the Israeli Prime Minister will not be effective until Hamas fulfills its obligations.
A ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was supposed to take effect at 08:30 on Sunday morning as part of a deal to release the hostages, which also included the bodies of dead Israelis.
Earlier, the Ynet portal reported that Hamas is delaying the transfer of the list of hostages to be released within the framework of the cease-fire agreement with Israel in the Gaza Strip due to technical reasons.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu then announced that a cease-fire in Gaza would not begin until the Palestinian Hamas movement handed over a list of hostages to be released.
