Tik Tok has specified a condition to continue operating in the US

TikTok has announced that it may cease operations in the United States on January 19 if the current President Joe Biden's administration does not provide assurances that it will not impose new restrictions or measures on the service, TikTok's official statement said.

"If the Biden administration does not immediately provide a final statement that will satisfy the main service providers of the US market, assuring that measures will not be applied to TikTok, we will be forced to cease our operations on January 19." the decision to allow the ban of the platform has forced the service to take this step.

TikTok said it has more than 170 million users in the US, which is almost half of the country's population. Shutting down the service could have serious implications for both users and small and medium-sized businesses that use the platform for marketing and communications.
