Joan Plowright has died


British actress Joan Plowright died at the age of 95.

According to Euromedia24.com, her family announced the death of the actress. Relatives of the star noted that she enjoyed a career in theater, film and television for seven decades before vision loss forced her to retire.
Floright is the winner of two Golden Globe Awards: In 1993, she won the Best Supporting Actress award for "Enchanted April" and the second award for "Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Television Movie" for "Stalin".

Plowright was also nominated for an Academy Award for his role in April Fools.

Plowright was the third and last wife of the famous British actor Laurence Olivier, who died in 1989.
