Hungary is confident that after the end of the Ukrainian conflict, the West will remove sanctions against Russia and establish normal relations with it. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, speaking during the morning program of the Kossuth radio station. Speaking about the prospects for 2025, he noted:
"The most important thing is that a new period will begin in connection with the changed situation, first of all, in matters of war, peace, sanctions, sanctions will be "thrown out of the window" and a system of relations without sanctions will be created with Russia."
At the same time, the head of the government emphasized that "we still have to work on it", because the leaders of the European Union have not changed their position and are still in favor of continuing the military conflict in Ukraine. "But this will pass," added Orban.
