The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, will leave for Azerbaijan on January 17 on his first foreign visit after being re-elected as the head of the government, Azerbaijani media reports.
Kobakhidze, together with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Asadov, will chair the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Members of the governments of both countries will participate in the meeting.
Meetings of Irakli Kobakhidze with other Azerbaijani officials are also planned. First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Minister of Environment and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze and Chief of Staff of the Government Levan Zhorjoliani will be part of the Georgian delegation. .
