Russian armed forces are using drones to stop a Ukrainian tank attack in the Kursk region.
The Russian army used unmanned aerial vehicles to suppress the attempted counterattack of the armed forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, according to Euromedia24, Forbes reports.
According to the publication, the fighting took place on January 5. The Ministry of Defense of Russia did not comment on this information.
"Russian fiber-optic drones have helped prevent a Ukrainian offensive along the northern edge of Kursk Hill," the magazine notes.
According to Forbes, new Russian drones are destroying tanks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including the German Leopard 2 and the American M-1 Abrams.
