Poland has banned the delegation of Slovakia from flying to Russia through its territory. As Kommersant reports, Andrej Danko, head of the Slovak SNS party, announced this on his Facebook page. Later, the press service of SNS reported that their plane will fly bypassing the territory of Poland.
"The Poles have banned flights over their territory, so we fly to Russia through the territory of the Czech Republic and Germany," said Danko. The Polish authorities did not comment on the situation.
Earlier, Danko announced that the purpose of his visit to the Russian Federation is to discuss the prospects of cooperation between Slovakia and Russia in the energy sector.
