Today, January 12, an emergency happened in Yerevan. Around 08:35, the National Center for 9-11 Crisis Management of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received an alert that smoke and fire were observed in the underground storage area of the "Parma" supermarket operating on Northern Avenue.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, 2 combat units from Yerevan's No. 8 fire-rescue squad, 1 each from No. 1 and No. 3 fire-rescue squads arrived promptly. It turned out that there is a smoke zone in the area and Firefighters are searching for the source or sources of fire.
