The number of victims of fires in the US state of California has reached 11, reports CBS News, referring to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Department.
Previously, forensic experts reported the death of 10 people.
"Six people died in the Eaton fire and five died in the Palisades fire," the TV station reported.
Forest fires started spreading in Los Angeles County on January 7. According to meteorologists, the reason for the rapid spread of the fire was the dry and very windy weather. The fire destroyed more than 10 thousand buildings in the region.
