Asad Hassan al-Shibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Transitional Government of Syria, announced his intention to visit European countries.
"I will lead a high-level delegation tour to European countries aimed at strengthening cooperation," he said during a press conference with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in Damascus, Al-Watan newspaper quoted al-Shibani as saying.
At the end of November, the armed opposition groups launched a large-scale attack against the positions of the Syrian army.
