The Danish Prime Minister wants to discuss the fate of Greenland with Trump

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has announced that he has requested a private conversation with US President-elect Donald Trump about his comments on Greenland. Politico writes about this. At the same time, he emphasized that Trump's team has not yet responded to the offer of a telephone conversation.

"We have proposed a private conversation with Trump, and I expect it to take place," Frederiksen said, commenting on the situation around Greenland.

The Danish prime minister also noted that he does not expect the dialogue to take place before the inauguration of the newly elected US president on January 20.
