At least 13 Cuban soldiers are missing after explosions and a subsequent fire at an ammunition depot in the eastern Cuban province of Holguin on the morning of January 7, the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba announced.
"As a result of the explosions in the ammunition warehouse in the municipality of Rafael Freire, Holguin, our friends are considered missing," said the ministry's message, which is included in X. The names of 13 people are listed there.
Earlier, the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces reported that a fire broke out as a result of explosions in the warehouse, which covered a large area, and more than 360 people were evacuated from that area. The reasons for the incident are not yet known.
