French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Iran's nuclear program is close to the "point of no return" and that the republic is "the main strategic security challenge" in the Middle East.
"Iran is a major strategic security challenge for France, Europeans, the entire region and beyond," Macron said.
According to him, the development of Iran's nuclear program "brings it very close to the irreversible point".
The head of France noted that this issue will become a priority in the dialogue with the new administration of Donald Trump.
