President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated that representatives of the Russian Federation are responsible for the plane crash in Aktau, as a result of which Azerbaijani citizens were killed, writes Ulysmedia.kz.
The head of Azerbaijan met with the families of the victims of the Baku-Grozny flight and the surviving members of the crew.
"I can confidently say that the responsibility of the Russian Federation representatives for the death of Azerbaijani citizens as a result of the plane crash in Aktau," Aliyev said.
The aircraft's black boxes are currently being decoded.
"I am sure that in the near future we will know the preliminary result, and everything will fall into place, the whole picture of the tragedy will become known.
And that, of course, will be an important point in the full investigation of this tragedy and the punishment of its culprits," said Aliyev.
