"Fact" daily writes:
A few days ago, the tankers "Volgoneft 212" and "Volgoneft 239" loaded with fuel oil had a disaster in the Kerch Strait.
There was a fuel spill during the emergency. 3,700 tons of fuel oil came ashore, pollution stretched 54 km.
A state of emergency was introduced in four settlements of the Temryuk region of the Russian Federation and in the large settlement of Blagoveshchenskaya near Anapa.
These days, in addition to relevant specialists, many volunteers are involved in the elimination of the consequences of the disaster, including dozens of volunteers from the countries of the Eurasian region arrived in Anapa on the initiative of "Eurasia" IOC.
This initiative is of great importance, and the international team of volunteers emphasizes that "Eurasia" is ready to help the participating countries in such situations.
This reaffirms the high degree of international solidarity and support in difficult times. A team of volunteers is already on the ground and actively involved in cleaning up the coastal areas.
Among the volunteers are Eurasia employees, partners and young people who are not indifferent to what happened and are ready to help in the fight against the consequences of the environmental disaster.
Special attention is drawn to Armenian volunteers who work side by side with volunteers from other countries.
The presence of Armenian volunteers in the "Eurasia" team indicates that the countries of the Eurasian region can expect each other's support in difficult times.
