Hamas has tried to make 29 changes to the Gaza deal plan

The radical Palestinian Hamas movement sought 29 changes in the deal plan with the support of US President Joe Biden to settle the situation in the Gaza Strip, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected all of them. Dmitri Gendelman, an adviser to the office of the head of the Israeli government, told TASS about it. "Hamas tried to make 29 changes in the program presented by [Biden], Netanyahu refused to make those changes," he said. He added that "Israel did not move a single millimeter." deviate from the plan that President Biden advocated." In particular, the Israeli side "neither added nor removed any conditions," Gendelman said, noting that "Israel will not allow any changes in the plan by Hamas either." On May 31, US President Joe Biden announced in the Gaza Strip the terms of the new draft agreement on peaceful settlement, which consists of three stages. The first is scheduled for six weeks and includes a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli troops from populated areas, the release of Hamas hostages in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons. During this time, the parties should start negotiations, and the ceasefire will be valid until a mutual understanding is reached. The second phase includes the release of all hostages, including the military. The third stage is the restoration of the Gaza Strip and the transfer of the remains of the dead Israelis to their relatives.
