The families of Chechen residents killed and injured as a result of the plane crash in Aktau, Kazakhstan, will be provided with comprehensive, including financial assistance, Khasan Khakimov, the vice president of the Chechen government, told reporters.
"According to the instructions of Ramzan Akhmatovich (Kadyrov, head of Chechnya), financial and other necessary assistance will be provided to all the families of those killed and injured as a result of this plane crash," Khakimov said.
He clarified that lists of which medical institutions accept victims from the republic will be published in the near future.
As it was announced during the session of the operational headquarters, at this moment it is known that nine residents of the republic flew on that plane. Six of them are currently in hospitals, the fate of three is unknown.
"There were also questions regarding the passengers who remained in the republic and could not return to Azerbaijan, they were all accommodated in hotels, they will receive three meals a day and will have the opportunity to return in the coming days," Khakimov said.
