The Turkish authorities are preparing a big plan to destroy the fighters of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Syria, they will have to lay down their weapons and be liquidated, writes the pro-government Hürriyet newspaper, citing its sources.
The newspaper reported earlier that Ankara and Damascus may carry out joint military operations against Kurdish militants in Syria if they refuse to lay down their weapons.
Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that Western support for Turkey's outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants is threatening, warning that the group's "circle is shrinking".
