Anomalous heat raging in a number of US states has killed at least 27 people. As "Armenpress" reports, citing the Washington Post newspaper, the abnormal heat has affected about 146 million people in such American states as California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. In the city of Las Vegas (Nevada), thermometers rose to 48.8 degrees, and in the city of Barstow (California) - to 47.7 degrees. Record temperatures are observed mainly in the west of the USA. Meteorologists said that the hot weather will last until the end of the week.
