Ukraine received a 150 million euro grant from the European Union as part of the country's recovery program. Part of the funds, in particular, will be directed to supporting important infrastructure facilities. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
"The European Union has sent 150 million euros to the special fund of the state budget of Ukraine. The collected funds are the second part of the financing of the program "Assistance for rapid recovery".
In particular, 65 million euros will be allocated to provide school meals for the lower classes, 50 million euros to restore port infrastructure, 20 million euros to support agriculture and 15 million euros to restore critical infrastructure.
It is noted that this is the second and last tranche within the framework of this program, the total volume of which is 300 million euros. Ukraine received the first tranche on December 20, 2023.
