Rescuers are searching for more than 60 people who were in two buses that fell into the river due to the landslide. According to "Armenpress", the BBC reports about this. The incident took place on July 12, around 03:30 local time, in the Chitwan region, 100 km from the capital Kathmandu. Three people survived. The authorities said that the landslide was caused by heavy rains. One of the survivors told the BBC that the bus had been on the road for about an hour and a half when it rolled several times and fell into the river. He and the other two survivors swam across the river to the highway and were able to call the police with the help of a driver. The Prime Minister of Nepal called on all government departments to join the search and rescue operations. During the monsoon season, according to the BBC, many people have died, major highways have been blocked, and a number of bridges have collapsed due to overflowing rivers.
