Kilauea, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, erupted on the Big Island of Hawaii. The eruption took place in the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park, The Guardian reports. Seismic activity was recorded on the night of December 23, after which cameras captured the eruption of lava.
