The Russian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk and Vitaly Savelev arrived in Tehran on December 23, "Interfax" agency reports.
According to the visit plan, the meeting of the Russian delegation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is planned as part of the trip. It is also assumed that the negotiations of the Russian Deputy Prime Ministers with the First Vice President of Iran, Mohammad Reza Aref, and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Farzane Sadegh.
It is expected that the parties will discuss the joint work of Iran and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) within the framework of the full-format agreement on the free trade zone, which is in the final stage of ratification by all participating countries, as well as cooperation within the framework of unification, Iran's status as an observer state in the EEU after receiving. In addition, issues of transport communication and development of new transport corridors are included in the agenda.
