The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh has officially appealed to the Foreign Ministry of India, asking to facilitate the return of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is accused of genocide, crimes against humanity and mass disappearances.
Tuhid Hossain, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Interim Government of Bangladesh, informed the journalists about this.
"We have made our position clear to India. We have said that we want to bring Hasina back to trial," he said.
Regarding the procedure provided for in this case, the minister noted that it is done through a note.
