Joining BRICS helps the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to become stronger and develop ties with the world's largest economies, the country's Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touk al-Mari, said.
“The UAE has always been a place where the economy has relied on power and connections with major economies.
Joining BRICS gives strength to the UAE and also provides opportunities to develop ties with such large economies as China and India," he said in an interview with the Japanese publication Nikkei Asia.
