Sky. Charles III will continue his cancer treatment in 2025

King Charles III of Great Britain will continue his cancer treatment in 2025. This is reported by the Sky News TV channel, referring to the sources of the Buckingham Palace.

"His treatment is going in a positive direction, next year the course of treatment will continue under controlled conditions," said the source. As the TV channel noted, the 76-year-old monarch participates in many events even in the pre-New Year period, which proves his good physical condition.

According to Sky News, the king intends to return to "a full program of public duties" next year.

At the beginning of February, Buckingham Palace announced that Charles III was diagnosed with cancer, after which he temporarily abandoned state duties. The monarch's exact diagnosis has not been announced, but it was given after the king underwent surgery on January 26 for an enlarged prostate.

Despite his illness, His Majesty has been making more and more public appearances in recent months. Charles III assumed the British throne on September 8, 2022, after the death of his mother, Elizabeth II, who reigned the longest in the history of the country - 70 years and 7 months. The coronation ceremony of the monarch took place on May 6, 2023 in London's Westminster Abbey.
