The Council of Europe and the Georgian authorities will decide to amend the law on foreign agents

The Council of Europe will create a working group with the authorities of Georgia to determine the changes to be made in the "Transparency of Foreign Influence" law. This was announced by the General Secretary of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset.

"I welcome the Georgian government's assurances that changes will be made to the so-called foreign influence law, we will now create a working group with Georgia and the Council of Europe, as well as the Venice Commission," Berse said at a briefing in Tbilisi.
