President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Malaysia on his first official visit. This is reported by the official state agency TDH.
According to its information, Berdimuhamedov is planning high-level negotiations. The agency notes that Turkmenistan and Malaysia have friendly relations based on traditions of mutual respect, which are successfully developing within the framework of international organizations.
It is also noted that the development of constructive relations with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region is one of the priorities of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, based on the principles of neutrality, peace, mutually beneficial and equal cooperation with all interested countries of the world.
