Ukraine and Moldova have not agreed to observe the elections in Belarus


CIS General Secretary Sergey Lebedev said that all CIS countries, except for Ukraine and Moldova, have confirmed their intention to participate in the monitoring of the presidential elections of Belarus, which are scheduled for January 26.

"All the CIS countries confirmed their agreement on sending a mission, unfortunately, except for Ukraine and Moldova," Lebedev, who headed the CIS observation mission in the presidential elections of Belarus, told reporters.

According to him, the CIS observation mission in the presidential elections of Belarus will consist of about 200 people, including 40 long-term observers.
