Azerbaijan plans to continue buying weapons from Russia. Aliev

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced that Azerbaijan plans to continue the purchase of Russian weapons, but added that the process has stopped due to objective reasons, the President of Azerbaijan said about this in an interview with the Russian "Ria Novosti" agency.

Referring to the question whether Azerbaijan plans to continue buying weapons from Russia, Aliyev answered: "Yes, it is planning, but I must say that no contracts for the purchase of Russian weapons have been signed in at least the last three years."

According to Aliyev, the temporary absence of new contracts is due to the fact that the Russian military-industrial complex works for domestic consumption.
